Be part of Westonbirt’s history!
To celebrate the Forestry Commission’s centenary year, we are planning a very special summer trail celebrating the Arboretum’s human history – but we can’t do it alone, we need your help!
This March, we need you to send us your photos (the older the better!), that capture those special moments for you, your friends and family at Westonbirt Arboretum!
Perhaps you have a photo of your grandmother working in Silk Wood with the land girls during the First World War, or a memorable family picnic taken when you were a child? Or perhaps photos of children and grandchildren on their first outing to the Westonbirt? Whatever the story, from big life milestones to small family moments, we want to hear about them!
All photos will be used to create an online gallery on the Westonbirt website this summer, and a select few images and their accompanying stories will be chosen for display on our summer seasonal trail!
Please email photos and their accompanying stories to us, or call 0300 067 4784 to arrange a visit to scan a non-digital photo and tell us your story. The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2019.
All photo submissions should include:
• Name (for crediting)
• Photo category
• Year the photo was taken
• Accompanying story
