Delve a little deeper into Westonbirt’s captivating trees and take a guided Discovery Walk to take the path less travelled.
There will be a different specialist theme for each walk.
Enchanted Christmas
Prepare to be dazzled by an enthralling winter wonderland, filled with sparkling lights, festive sounds, and mesmerising installations – making for an unforgettable experience for all the family. Enchanted Christmas is open on selected evenings until 23 December, and is a must-see for all ages.
Christmas Crafts and Discovery Day
Get into the festive spirit with Christmas Crafts and Discovery Day. This event takes place on 09 December from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Find out about the trees that feature in our winter and Christmas traditions through discovery, challenges and crafts.
Make your own Christmas crafts to take home, made from natural materials.
Budding scientists can learn more about nature in winter by taking a close look at evergreen leaves under the microscope.
Willow Sculpture Workshop
Learn how to make your own willow sculpture at this workshop. The workshop takes place on 16 December from 10am to 4pm and is a great way to get creative this Christmas.
Christmas Wreath Workshop
Create your own festive Christmas wreath at this workshop. The workshop takes place on various dates throughout December from 10am to 12.30pm and is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
Nordic Walk
Join a Nordic Walk and enjoy a brisk walk through the arboretum. Nordic Walking is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the fresh air.
