Spring: The snowdrops and daffodils emerge from the ground, followed by a dazzling display of magnolias, rhododendrons, and azaleas. The trees begin to bud and leaf, and the air is filled with the sound of birdsong.

Summer: The trees provide a shady canopy from the hot sun, and the flowers add a splash of colour to the landscape. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the arboretum, or take part in one of the many summer activities, such as guided walks, workshops, and family-friendly events.

Autumn: The leaves on the trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow, creating a truly magical sight. Visitors can take a walk through the Acer Glade or wander around Maple Loop in Silk Wood to see the stunning display of maple trees.

Winter: A time of quiet beauty at Westonbirt. The trees are bare, but the frost and snow can create a stunning winter wonderland. Visitors can enjoy a walk through the arboretum to see the unusual twisted trunks and patterned barks.

Choose either a single membership for one adult and up to four children (£42 a year), or a joint membership for two adults and up to four children (£82 a year). With a Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum membership, your giftee will enjoy unlimited free entry to the arboretum for a whole year, as well as a host of other benefits.

Plus, you'll be protecting trees and supporting conservation so future generations can enjoy the great outdoors surrounded by trees too.
