The beauty of spring is definitely unfolding at Westonbirt (even if it has turned a little bit chilly again!) and one of the many highlights is Azara microphylla, which is in flower right now.

As I write, we continue to be at the mercy of the all too familiar wet & windy weather, it has already been a long winter.

No two days are the same for me at Westonbirt, & I have to say that the great variety of my role is something that I do enjoy.

In any building construction there seems to be a spell in the middle when nothing much seems to happen – or at least nothing obvious.
